A Preteen Girl with Terrifying Intrusive Thoughts

Presented by Dale Rosin, D.O. | Joined by Peter A. Crist, M.D.

Anna, a preteen girl, began experiencing frightening and invasive thoughts in the evenings that kept her from sleep. With time, these thoughts worsened in frequency and intensity and began to bother her during the day, interfering with her school functioning. Uncertain about what sounded like increasingly psychotic delusions, her pediatrician recommended Anna be evaluated and treated by a psychiatrist, telling the parents that their daughter probably would be put on medication. Anna began working with Dr. Rosin to identify the emotions that were the underlying cause of these thoughts. With his encouragement, she was able to express her emotions during her therapy, which not only had some wonderful effects on her life but also resulted in eradicating the intrusive thoughts completely. No medication was used in Anna's treatment.

The series is free to attend. Seating is limited and advance registration is recommended. Call (732) 821-1146 or email aco@orgonomy.org for more information. You can also register on-line.
